Enjoyed that, perfect poem for the day that’s in it.
The Great Enigma
Enjoy your irreverent rhyme 🙂 Maureen
Sorry, Peter. ‘know’ just doesn’t work here.
Try, tell, or share, or… and find rhymes or not.
I think sense is more important than rhyme, don’t you.
I am taking first steps at getting a blog happening.
My book of spiritual poems is at the publishing stage.
If you’d like me to send you one of the poems, let me know.
Thanks for that Maureen. Yes, I agree sense comes first. Maybe you don’t have that idiom in Canada but “does not want to know” would be an apt phrase here to descibe a situation where someone is not interested. Some of my poems are just short “ditties” to illustrate points that arise in critical thinking, and this is one such. Please do let me know your blog url when it is up and running.
Well done, Peter.
The only bit that made it fit in the ‘preachy’ section was the chatter under the poem. The poem itself made perfect sense.
I am making a hard copy of it and keeping for reference. Yep, we want tolerance for our old fashioned or new fangled ideas and pursuits. And we want to be the change we want to see, so I can do with this encouragement 🙂
Brought tears to my eyes,
remembrances to my own heart.
You needed to leave this for the day it was.
But would it had never needed to be said.
My heart goes out to abused and abuser.
Each needs cleansing, healing, love. M
Not so sure I understand it all – but love it 🙂 M
